FontXChange 2.1 Known Issue
Page 1
1–1
Through customer feedback we have discovered a minor bug that will cause FontXChange to report a conversion error with certain Mac PostSCript Type 1 fonts.
The conversion error occurs when the "Preserve Kerning Info..." option is checked in the Preferences > Macintosh window and the font suitcase file name has non-ASCII characters in it (e.g. !@#$%^&*(), etc.)
This has been fixed in an upcoming 2.1.1 release.
In the meantime there are a couple of ways to work around it:
Uncheck the "Preserve Kerning Info..." option in the Preferences > Macintosh window
or
Rename the suitcase file so that is does not contain non-ASCII characters
